Spam


The word "spam" was used in a sketch of the British comedians "Monty Python", in which it was frequently and unrequestedly repeated by a participant of a conversation even though it was absolutely not suiting to the conversation. So "spam" is a piece of information which is unrequestedly and massivly spread, even though the sender could be sure that no more than a fraction of the recipients might be interested in it. In many cases the "information" of spam is some kind of advertisement.
